The European Nations Championship “Euro 2024” highlights the value of the Roshen League during the time being, and confirms that the Saudi Championship is no longer a place for the retirement of soccer stars.
The Euro 2024 tournament was kicked off in Germany on 14 June, with 14 players attending the Saudi Roshen League, headed by Portuguese al-nasr Club star and captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Over the course of more than a year, competition in the Saudi Championship has been strengthened with great ambition, by signing a group of stars who may not have left Europe during the best of their football career.
The Saudi competition saw a remarkable rise following the acquisition by the Saudi Investment Fund of al-hilal, Nasr, al-itthad and al-Ahli clubs, which resulted in the signing of international stars, beginning with Ronaldo early last year 2023. After attending the “Madeira rocket,” Saudi clubs continued their contracts with a group of leading football stars around the world.
The Roshen Saudi League is ahead of the 12-man Portuguese League, the 11-man Belgian League and the 8-man Scottish League.
Ronaldo top stars of the Rosen League in Euro 2024
The 39-year-old Ronaldo is considered one of the top winning cards in the Portuguese national team, under coach Roberto Martinez, and has played 10 games and scored 11 goals for his country since deciding to go to Saudi Arabia.
He plays for Ronaldo in the ranks of al-nasr, Croatia’s Marcelo Prozovic, who has not lost his starting place in the Croatian national team, since coming to “the world” during the summer Mercato 2023.
Prozovic (31) is expected to start in Croatia’s starting squad during Euro 2024, along with midfielders Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic.
The third player on the list also defends the shirt of Victory, the Spanish Aymeric Laporte, who left Manchester City a year ago, and moved to “Knight Najd” for 27 million euros.
Laporte’s trip to the Spanish national team did not stop after going to the Saudi Rosen League, and he has the confidence of coach Luis de la Fuente, who relies primarily on him as a centre-back next to Robyn Le Normand.

Turning to the traditional rivals of al-nasr, al-hilal is also represented by 3 players in Euro 2024, most notably Serbia’s historic top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, along with fellow midfielder Sergei Savic, and the Portuguese star midfielder, Ruben Neves, will also be present in the Portuguese squad during the European wedding.
The trio achieved a remarkable achievement in their first season with “Blue Capital”, after the culmination of the local trilogy, the fingernail with the Roshin League titles, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.
