Roshn league ,the Saudi Professional League (SBA) announced a new partnership with the German company Adidas, under which the international sports brand will become the official supplier of balls in the Saudi Roshn League from February 2024.
The games are expected to be played with an Adidas ball “Oceaunz” in the rest of the 2023/2024 season, beginning next month until May, after which Adidas will present an exclusive football with unique colors with the start of the 2024/2025 season.
The partnership highlights the joint commitment of both sides to enhance Saudi football’s position and commercial attractiveness internationally in light of the significant increase in the number of league viewers around the world and the number of public attendees in stadiums.
The partnership also aims to consolidate the position of sport in the Kingdom and support sustainable growth in all fields of Saudi football.
Commenting on the partnership, Saad Al-Taseh, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Professional League Association and Chief Executive Officer-designate, said: “Our partnership with Adidas represents a distinctive step towards improving football in Saudi Arabia.”
He continued: “The Saudi Roshn League will enhance its presence in the international landscape, as well as open the door to more investment, attract talent and promote growth that leaves a positive impact on the culture of local football.
