Al-hilal star awaits new award

The African Union is scheduled to announce the winner of the Best Goalkeeper Award in Africa at the annual awards ceremony, to be held in Senegal’s capital, Dakar, on December 15, 2023. The award will be voted on by African coaches and leaders, specialized media and online audiences.

Bono who played in Al-hilal in saudi roshn League hopes to receive this award, being the first Moroccan goalkeeper to win it, and the second Arab goalkeeper after Algeria’s Rice Mbolhi, who won it in 2019. Bono is one of the most important players in the Morocco squad, which is preparing for the 2026 World Cup, to be held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
