English press reports revealed on Wednesday that Saudi clubs were continuing their efforts to sign Brazilian midfielder Casemiro.

Casemiro wants to leave United before the start of the new season, having spent two seasons in a Red Devils shirt, following his departure from Real Madrid.

Sky Sports today indicated that the 32-year-old continues to receive the attention of Saudi clubs in the current period.

Casemiro’s name has previously been linked with a move to the Saudi League, particularly to Al-Nasr Club, in order to play next door to former Real team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as former United player Alex Telles.

The same source added that United’s moves to bring in a new midfield deal, depending on whether Casemiro leaves the team or not, especially as there is interest on the part of the Old Trafford giant in signing Wolverhampton midfielder Joao Gomez.

Journalist Jack Gogan, one of the most important sources in Manchester City’s news, also confirmed the desire of the Saudi Federation club to sign goalkeeper Ederson, without disclosing other details, pointing to the continued interest of Saudi clubs in Belgian team star Kevin De Bruyne.
Casemiro played last season 32 a game in all tournaments during which he scored 5 goals and made other 3.
