The Discipline and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued a decision fining the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ahli Jeddah Club, Khaled Al-Issa.
The Disciplinary Committee announced in a statement on Tuesday that Khaled al-Issa was fined SAR 60 thousand for media abuse against Al-Ahli and Al-Raed officials and provoking public opinion.
Al-Issa criticized the refereeing after his team’s negative draw with the al-raed, in the 16th round of the Roshin Professional League.
In the light of what happened, Al-Issa said, in post-match media statements: “Arbitration is the weakest link in Jamil’s project, and I call on the referees’ committee to take this into account.”
He added: “We were robbed of the three points against the al-raed because of the arbitration, where he wasted a lot of time, and we also had a penalty that the referee did not count. This has been repeated in more than one previous match. “

The Ahli Jeddah Club is third in the rankings of the Roshen Saudi Professional League, with 34 points, 3 points behind al-nassr, and equally with al-taawoun.
The ahli Jeddah team is set to face al-hazm counterpart in the 18th round of the Roshen League on Friday.
