Ismaili Egyptian counterpart will face the Saudi al-ettifaq football club amicably within the Dervish celebrations of one hundred years since the establishment of the club.
Al-Ismaili Club and its counterpart, the Saudi Al-ettifaq , hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to sign friendly contracts for the two teams, on the sidelines of the 100-year Dervish celebrations

The conference will be held at 2:30 p.m., at the club’s headquarters, in the presence of representatives of Ismaili and the Dervish Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Nasr Abu al-Hassan and the Saudi Club of Al-ettifaq
On his official Facebook page, Ismaili revealed that the confrontation with the Saudi agreement was amicable, with the match to be held on the latter’s soil at a date to be determined. The Ismaili Club added: “We waited tomorrow Wednesday at the conference to reveal the details of the sibling summit.”

The al-ettifaq has a number of front-row stars around the world among its ranks, foremost among them is Ginny Wijnaldum, Demray Gray, Moussa Dembele and Carl Toko Ikambi. England’s Steven Gerrard has been in charge of the agreement since summer 2023. Al-Ismaili confronted the Libyan people of Benghazi amicably last March as part of his celebration of the historic centenary, losing the meeting at the stadium of the Benina martyrs with two clean targets.
