The Saudi Football Federation has confirmed that competing clubs in the Saudi Super Cup are entitled to request foreign arbitration crews.
The semi-finals of the tournament between Etihad and al-wehda and al-Nasr and Al-Hilal will begin on 29 Ramadan, with the qualifiers meeting on the second day of Eid al-Fitr in Abu Dhabi.
According to the Saudi sports newspaper, the FA has indicated that competing clubs are entitled to request foreign arbitration crews, with the same mechanism circulated before the start of the current sports season to clubs.
The newspaper noted that the application for the final must include the semi-final, and if he does not qualify for the final, the Saudi Federation will return the amount to the club’s account.
The Jeddah Federation Club Administration intended to request foreign referees for the team’s match against the Unit in the Super Championship over the next two days and during the regular period.
The game union requires that a non-Saudi crew request be submitted at least two weeks before the match date, so that the allocated amount is deposited at the time of the application, whether on or outside the team land, in addition to attaching the hawala or delivering a cheque with the request.
