saudi-mercato-awaits-approval-of-club-budgets

Saudi clubs are waiting for the green light to adopt their budgets for the new fiscal year, in order to begin deciding deals during the summer transfer window in the hope of strengthening their ranks before the start of the new season.
The Saudi Ministry of Sport’s Financial Sustainability Committee has received several requests from clubs in the Saudi Professional League  roshen league to settle deals, but none has yet been approved.

According to the Saudi newspaper “Middle East”, this is due to the Committee waiting until each club’s budget is decided and the issue of new contracts is given a green light.
The Committee sought to ensure that there were no shortfalls in club budgets or previous indebtedness, causing outstanding issues for international actors such as FIFA, thereby further stalling and possibly penalizing the suspension of the restriction.

According to the same source, the clubs’ budgets are expected to be approved on July 1, and therefore the sustainability committee gives the necessary approvals to settle deals.

With regard to the position of the Qadisiyah saudi Club, the Committee had relied on financial guarantees from the Club’s owner in order to approve a contract for more than one recent transaction.
