Italy’s Roberto Mancini, head coach of Saudi Arabia, was forced to replace Al-Owais in the 35th minute of Jordan’s match and pay teammate Ahmed Al-Kassar instead after he was injured.
The Saudi team account said on the social media site “X” that the magnetic resonance radiation performed for Aouais revealed that it suffered from an injury to the hip’s rear muscle.

Lakhdar Saudi Arabia’s account indicated that, in accordance with the established procedures, the injury report was submitted to Al-Hilal Club.
