Talal Haji and Al-Ittihad Striker are Sets a New Record

Recently joining the ranks of the Saudi national team, Haji is now considered the second youngest player to be called up to the Green Falcons, breaking records and garnering admiration in the sports arena.

Born in 2007, Haji began his football journey in the youth categories of Al-Ittihad, where he displayed exceptional skills. At the age of 16 years and 57 days, he was called up by Italian coach Roberto Mancini to join the Saudi national team, becoming the second youngest player to achieve this feat after Ahmed Jameel.

In the current season, Haji has been a significant presence in the first team of Al-Ittihad, participating in the Saudi Roshen League and the King’s Cup. He has proven himself as a strong and capable striker, scoring 72 goals across various youth categories.

Haji’s brilliance is not limited to his club performance; he has also shone with the Saudi national team. He participated in the Arab Cup U-17, the qualifiers for the 2023 AFC U-16 Championship, and the AFC U-17 Championship, scoring 13 goals.
