On Tuesday, the Saudi Federation of Football announced the holding of the First Legal Conference on Football in Jeddah on Monday.
presented by a number of local and international jurists, with the aim of building effective communication between legal professionals in football at the domestic and international levels.
The Conference has 8 sessions, initiated by the Chairman of the Discipline and Ethics Committee, Bender Al-Hamidani
who presents a session entitled “An overview of the regulation of discipline and ethics”, while the second session is presented by the Director-in-Charge of Legal Affairs and Governance of the Saudi Federation, Mateus Witjain, entitled “Integrity in football”.
The third session is presented by the Chairman of the Appeals Committee, Ahmed Al-Qanaaan, entitled “Authenticity of Contemporary Digital Evidence before the Sports Judiciary”, while the President of the Dispute Resolution Chamber Faisal Abu Khalaf presents the fourth session, entitled “Introduction to the Dispute Resolution Chamber and its Working Mechanism”,
the fifth session is entitled “FIF… Principles, Implementation and Practical Considerations “by the Legal Counsel for the Management of Players’ Agents of the International Federation Tariq Ajanović.
The 6th session will also be presented by Marco Amizkwa, Legal Counsel of the Department of Legislation of the International Football Federation,
“Overview of player transfer reform and regulation updates” and the seventh hearing will be presented by James Ketcheng, International Arbitrator of the Cass Tribunal. entitled “Multi-club ownership in football, facts, figures and governance”
The Director of Status and Registration of Players Abdulaziz Al-Awjan concludes the sessions of the Conference with a session entitled “Commitments of the Director of Professionalism”.
The legal department of the Saudi Federation invited representatives of the Roshin Professional League clubs and a number of specialists in sports law.
