The start of the winter transfer period for the Saudi League

Today officially begins the winter transfer period for the Saudi League, the Rushen League, for the 2023-2024 season.

According to what was announced, this period will last for 31 days, starting today and ending at the end of this January, according to the rules of the Saudi Football Association announced for all clubs participating in the tournaments.

Al-Ittihad Club is at the top of the clubs whose fans are awaiting what the club will do in the transfer market, in light of the demands to restructure the team at the level of foreign players after the dull image that the team appeared in in the first half of the season.

Argentine media reports indicated a few days ago that River Plate’s star midfielder, Enzo Perez, has entered the interests of Al-Ittihad Club, and the deal seems close to the team, especially since the player wants to move to the “Commander” under the leadership of his former coach, Marcelo Gallardo.

The name of the Moroccan player, Azzedine Ounahi, the French star of Marseille, is among the most prominent names that several Saudi clubs are competing to contract with in the winter.

Newspaper reports indicated that Brazilian Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder, is close to leaving the team next month, noting that several Saudi clubs have entered the line in an attempt to include the player, including Al-Ahly and Al-Ittifaq.

Reports revealed that Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu, the Italian Inter Milan star, is the focus of interest from Al Hilal, which has made more than one offer to include the player during the upcoming winter transfer period.
