Press reports confirmed that Romania’s George Timesh, coach of the Abha First Interim Football Team, succeeding Tunisian Yusuf Al-Mannai, will oversee the team’s games in the 18 and 19 rounds of the Saudi Roshen League against Al-Hilal and Al-Raed.

The same sources added that the Southern Club administration is working to agree with a coach during the international break in January to oversee the team before the resumption of the competition.

The Abha First Football Team held its last training yesterday, before facing Al-Hilal, in the 18th round of the Saudi Roshen League, today, at the ground of the King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh.

Romanian coach Georgi Timesh held a technical meeting with the players before the start of the training, during which he demanded the importance of focusing in the al-hilal match, and explained how he would take the meeting.

The Abha Club previously announced that head coach George Timesh would be assigned to supervise the first team, after thanks were given to Polish coach Cesilav and his assistants for their efforts

Abha ranks 16th with 14 points from 17 games played by the team.
