Al-Hilal moved away from the top of the Saudi Pro League standings with a new victory at the expense of Al-Tai on Friday evening’s 2-1 result, widening the gap with his bitter neighbor Al-Nasr.
Al-Hilal secured a valuable win away to Al Tai, during the match between the two teams, in the 16th round of the 2023-2024 Roshen League.
The “leader” balance of point 44 rose at the top of the competition standings, extending the gap with victory to 10 full points.
This came before Al-Nasr played in the same round against Riyadh later in the evening on Friday, with Al-Qalam finishing second with 34 points.

Al-Hilal won last round against al-nassr in the Riyadh derby with a hat-trick without responding to King Fahd International Stadium.
Salem Al Dusri opened the game at the 20th minute of a powerful shot, after taking advantage of Salman Al Faraj’s distinctive cross on the right.
10 minutes later, Serbia’s Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the second goal from the spot.In the 40th minute, Portugal’s Ruben Neves managed to score a third goal but was overturned by the referee after returning to video technology for offside.
Al-Tai succeeded in reducing the gap at the 4th minute of stoppage time in the first half, through Tariq Abdullah from a rocket shot, during which he took advantage of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassin Bono’s lead.
This is the first goal received by the Pro League’s “leader” after 409 minutes of clean sheets.
