Al-Hilal was crowned champion of the Saudi Diriyah Super Cup, for the fourth time in its history, after a big 4-1 victory over Etihad on Thursday evening over Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Al-Hilal took the lead in the fifth minute through Malcom Oliveira, but theal-itthad of Jeddah equalized in the 21st minute with the signing of Abdul Razak Hamdallah.

Salim Al-Dosari, the leader’s second goal in the 44th minute, before Malcom consolidated the team’s lead with a third goal in the 89th minute, while Nasser Al Dosari scored a fourth goal in the 90 + 6 minute.

Al-Hilal strengthened its number as the most crowned team in Saudi Arabia, outperforming any other competitor, by at least two titles.

Al-Hilal continued his series by not losing to the Etihad for 11 consecutive appearances in all tournaments (10 wins and one draw), while the Dean’s last victory in Clasico dates back to April 2021.

Malcolm needed only 5 minutes in order to put the crescent in front with a great goal, after a joint collaboration with Saleh al-Shahri on the boundary of the box.

20 minutes later, Hamdallah was able to equalize, after being awarded a penalty after being hampered by Renan Lodi, who then took it himself.

Although his compatriot Yassine Bono blocked the penalty, the Moroccan striker followed the ball easily into the empty net.
Al-Dosari almost quickly restored the lead to the crescent, after receiving a ball over the six-yard zone, but Abdullah al-Ma ‘aouf cleared his shot for a corner.

Crescent players demanded a penalty two minutes before halftime, after the ball hit Karim Benzema’s hand, but referee Khalid Al-Taris refused to count it.

One minute later, Aldosari scored a second crescent goal in a wonderful manner, after manipulating the Brigadier’s defense, sending a ball into the far right corner of the net, for which the identifiers did not move still.

The al-itthad entered the second half with considerable pressure on the crescent, hoping to realize the tie, but it was little danger in the first quarter of an hour.

Hamdallah succeeded in shaking Bono’s net again after an elaborate cross from Benzema, but the referee refused to calculate the goal because the Moroccan striker was caught in the infiltration trap.
Sergej Savic almost settled the Clasico early for a third goal in the 74th minute, but his shot hit the crossbar before coming out for a goal kick.

Al-Taris cancelled out a new goal this time for al-Hilal, from a quick counter-attack, Malcom went off, playing a distinctive through to Saud Abd al-Hamid, who in turn sent a cross around al-Dussari to net, but the right-back was offside.

Just a minute before the end of the original time, Malcom scored a third goal after a terrific individual effort, conceding a through ball from Savic, and hitting a creeping ground, which was not saved by the identifier.

Substitute Nasser Al-Dosari fired a mercy shot with a fourth crescent goal, following up on a ball bounced into the box, to end the final game with a 4-1 victory by Al-Hilal.
