Al-Shabab managed to win against hosts Riyadh 1-0 on Wednesday as part of the 26th round of the Saudi Professional League competition.
The two teams exchanged control of the game during game times with a predominantly defensive layout for fear of conceding goals and relying on quick turnovers offensively or exploiting set pieces.
The only goal of the meeting in favor of the Liuth came through the al- Riyadh player Khaled al-Shuwaia by mistake in his own right at the 33rd minute.
The away side were close to scoring the equaliser in the 61st minute, after a dangerous opportunity for Gray to squander the ball out of goal.
With this victory, the al-shabab team balance rises to 31 points in 11th place in the Roshen League ranking table, and al- Riyadh’s team balance stops at 25 points in 14th place.

The al-shabab team lacked the efforts of Croatia’s player Ivan Rakitic due to injury, but in return he regained the efforts of Belgium’s Yannick Carrasco, who was put on the bench by Portugal’s Vitor Pereira, before marrying him with the restart instead of Brazil’s Carlos Junior.
