The First al-taawoun Team booked the AFC Champions League 2 qualification card, and completed the contract of the Saudi Super Cup teams, after securing the fourth place in the Saudi Roshen League by snapping up a victory in the deadly time of “1-0” against their hosts, in the 34th and final round on Monday.

The second time the Al Qusaimi team finished in fourth place after the 2015-2016 season.
Al-Qusaimi is beholden to Abdul Malik al-Ayeri, who scored the game’s only goal at the 90th minute.
The al-taawoun raised its balance to 59 points, ending the contest in Golden Square after a competition with the Federation until the last round, while the al-ettifaq remained at 48 in sixth place.

The visitors were better throughout the game thanks to their possession of the ball and threatened the goal of al-taawoun on more than one occasion without being able to find the net, especially in the first half, which ended in a scoreless draw.
The hosts returned in the second half to share the dew with the visitors and had more than one chance to score until Abdelmalek Al-Ayeri was able to find the net in the deadly time, giving match points to Al Qusaimi.
