Schroeder’s name emerged in the past hours as a possible replacement for Portuguese Nuno Santo, who was sacked on Tuesday from training the itthad Jeddah club due to declining results. Al Ain published an official statement on Wednesday, saying: “Al Ain Football Club announced an agreement with Dutch coach Alfred Schroeder on terminating the contract.<\/p>\n
Al Ain Al Emirati explained that Schroeder’s departure was caused by “the incompatibility of the coach and his associate technical staff with the corporate work system of the company.” The football company expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to coach Alfred Schroeder for the efforts he made with the team during his tenure as coach of the team, wishing him success in his next campaign. Al Ain Club concluded that the name of the new coach will be announced in the coming hours. Schroeder’s departure comes hours after he led Al Ain to qualify for the AFC Champions League round of 16.<\/p>\n
