Fahd bin Nafel answers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The chairman of the non-profit Saudi Al-hilal Club, Fahad bin Navel, said his team had authorized Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to join his ranks, before the club signed him.<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old&#8217;s services were inaugurated by Al-Nassr last January.<\/p>\n<p>Saad Al-Taseh, Vice President of the Saudi Professional League and Chief Executive Officer-designate, stated that the Association-led polarization programme worked from the outset to complete the deal for Ronaldo to join Al-Nassr only.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Nafel spoke to Action with Waleed via MBC: &#8220;We have authorized <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cristiano_Ronaldo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> before, we always negotiate and look for the best player for al-hilal Club, proud of the group we have now, and wish all players and all clubs well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fahad bin Nafel explained: &#8220;Our negotiations with Ronaldo were not the same timing as those of the Al-Nassr club, but before, in the summer transfer market (which precedes Ronaldo joining Al-Nassr)<\/p>\n<p>He continued: &#8220;If Saad&#8217;s delicious stated that the Al-hilal club did not negotiate Cristiano Ronaldo, it is inaccurate,&#8221; pointing out Ben Naffel that during the negotiations with the Portuguese star was not delicious in his position.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Blue Hilly&#8221; team had been punished for preventing players from registering for two consecutive terms in May 2022, against the backdrop of the team&#8217;s case and its player Mohamed Knowe with <a href=\"https:\/\/saudi-league.com\/club\/al-nassr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Al-Nassr<\/a>.<!--\/data\/user\/0\/com.samsung.android.app.notes\/files\/clipdata\/clipdata_bodytext_231124_204739_306.sdocx--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The chairman of the non-profit Saudi Al-hilal Club, Fahad bin Navel, said his team had authorized Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to join his ranks, before the club signed him.
