The management of Saudi Arabia’s Abha Club was close to announcing the signing of South Africa’s Petsu Musimani, the former technical director of the ahli Jeddah team.
According to the sports newspaper, a forthcoming session will be held between the Department, led by Ahmed al-Hadithi and betsu Musimani, to settle on the features of the winter transfer file by identifying either the names of the departed or new deals.
Musimani stressed the need to include players of high quality from professionals and locals to compensate for the bleeding of first round points.
Musimani will lead Abha training on Saturday, coinciding with the return of players following the negative rest granted to them during the current hiatus due to the Saudi team’s participation in the Asian Cup.
Abha team is one of the top teams threatened with relegation to the Yellow League, finishing in the penultimate position in the Saudi roshen Pro League with 14 points.
Petsu Musimani has several experiences in the Arab region, most notably the leadership of the Egyptian National League to achieve the African Champions League title with Al hly team, and the ascent of the Saudi ahly of jeddah team to the saudi pro Roshen League.
