Users of the “X” platform (previously Twitter) circulated a video to meet Karim Benzema, the striker of the alitthad of Jeddah Club, with coach Jose Mourinho, on the sidelines of their attendance at Formula One, to win the Saudi Grand Prix in its fourth edition on the Jeddah Cornish Circuit.
The video showed the 36-year-old French striker meeting the Portuguese artistic director, speaking together and then hugging.
Benzema had previously played under Mourinho for Spanish club Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013.
Jose Mourinho was recently in Saudi Arabia and participated in the analytical studio of the Egypt Cup final between Al Ahli and Zamalek clubs, held at Al Awl Park Stadium in Riyadh.
