al-ahli of Jeddah are awaiting the Saudi Professional League’s response to his request for the transfer of his match against al-wehda team in the domestic competition, due to the “Night of Destiny.”
Al-Ahli is a guest at King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Mecca on April 5 in the 27th round of the Saudi League.
Al-Ahli’s management sent a letter to the unit requesting the transfer of the match to Jeddah instead of playing it in Mecca, as it comes on 26 Ramadan, corresponding to the night of destiny.
Mecca is expected to experience a severe crunch on that blessed night.
The newspaper added that the unit is not reluctant to transfer the match to Jeddah, with the full income of the meeting as the host team, while Ahli agreed to this requirement.
According to the same newspaper, Al-Ahli sent an official request to the Professional Association in this regard, and is awaiting a reply, as the decision is expected in the next few days.
The “Middle East” indicated that the match would be held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, once the association had agreed to move it, because the “Radioactive Jewel” Stadium was occupied by the Union and Cooperation Match on the same day.
Al Ahli is third in the Saudi League table with 47 points with 10 rounds before the end of the season, while the unit is 12th with 27 points.
