Al Ahli Saudi Club stands as a beacon of Saudi football, distinguished by its rich history and accomplishments on both the domestic and Asian fronts. It is one of the distinguished sports pillars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Club's Foundation:

Al Ahli Club was established in 1937 by Hassan Shams - may he rest in peace. He was one of the sports luminaries in the Kingdom. The club is centrally located in Jeddah. Due to his significant contributions in sports, he was deemed an ambassador for the country, a title bestowed upon him by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may he rest in peace - on July 3, 2009. The club is known for its emblem and colors, representing Jeddah and its heritage.

Al Ahli Club's Headquarters:

The current headquarters of Al Ahli Club is situated in the heart of Jeddah, specifically on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street (Tahlia Street). The facility was designed according to the highest sports standards and includes various sports fields, multipurpose halls, and an in-house training camp for the teams, making it a prominent sports landmark in the city.

Al Ahli Saudi Club's Stadium:

Al Ahli matches are played at King Abdullah Sports City located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The stadium can accommodate approximately 30,000 spectators and is primarily used for football matches as Al Ahli's home ground, in addition to hosting international matches and other sporting events.

Al Ahli Saudi Club's Championships:

Al Ahli claimed its first title in the 1962 season by winning the King's Cup. Over the years, the club has managed to win numerous domestic and international championships. In total, the club has garnered over 40 titles, including:
  • Saudi League: Champions: 3 times (1977–78, 1983–84, 2015–16). Runner-up: 9 times, notably in the seasons (2014–15, 2016–17, 2017–18).
  • King's Cup: Champions: 13 times, including consecutive victories from 1969 to 1971. Runner-up: 5 times.
  • AFC Champions League: Runner-up: twice (1985–86, 2012). Among other local and international championships that witnessed the club's brilliance and the creativity of its players. Internationally, Al Ahli's participation in the AFC Champions League has been fiercely competitive, reaching the finals twice. In recent years, Al Ahli has showcased great strength on the domestic front, particularly with its league title in the 2015-2016 season.
