al-Riyadh midfielder Abdul Hadi al-Harajin snatched the winning goal six minutes before the end of the original meeting time.
Prior to this game, the victories had been absent from the Capitals since their 2.1 away win over the groove, early last March, in the 22nd round.
Riyadh won a historic first victory over Ahli in the Professional League during their second clash in the team’s first tournament.
