abha ‘s coaching staff, led by Petsu Mosmiani, received a shock, after the team player Zakaria Sami was confirmed to have suffered a cut of the cruciate ligament and cartilage.
The club’s account on the X platform explained that the player will undergo surgical intervention tomorrow.
Sami suffered the injury during his team’s match against Al Tai, which Mosmiani’s comrades decided with an unanswered double, in the 22nd round of the Saudi Roshin League.

Sami now needs a six-month treatment and rehabilitation period after surgery, before returning to participate with his fellow players, which means the end of his season with the team.
Abha faces the spectre of relegation to the Yellow League by finishing 16th in the Saudi Professional League table with 25 points.
He was scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday morning at Al Habib Hospital in Riyadh.
The player’s season is thus over with Abha,team where he will be out of injury until the end of the current season.
Sami is one of the main pillars of the southern team, having participated in most of the past games with the team and having been an important element both in the defence centre and the hub.
