On Sunday, press reports revealed the adoption of a new sports committee at the Jeddah al-Ahli Club, comprising the team’s coach, Mathias Yassel.
According to Saudi newspaper Akaz, the Al-Ahli Club has adopted a sports committee comprising CEO Ron Gurley, sports director Lee Congerton and team coach Mathias Yasele.

The newspaper explained that the Commission would be responsible for all aspects of the football team.
The newspaper noted that the work of the Executive Committee, which had taken over in the past, had been terminated.

Al-Ahli officially signed last January, with England’s Ron Gurley, to take over as CEO at the Castle of Cups.

Al-Ahli also contracted with Welshman Lee Congerton to assume the duties of sports management at the Western Club.

Al-Ahly was tied with Al-Wahda (1-1) on Friday evening in the 27th round of the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Ahli is third in the league table with 52 points, compiled from 15 wins, 7 draws and 5 losses, after 27 rounds.
On Saturday, Ahli Jeddah Club announced that Ali Mujerchi had been injured after undergoing several medical examinations on the face.

Mejrachi suffered a severe injury after an air collision during the unit’s clash on Friday in the 27th round of the Saudi Professional Roshen League, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
