The parties to the match were identified as Khaled Mas’ ad, the Saudi national team player, Al-Ahli and the former Federation, where it was decided to take place between Al-Ahli Al-Saudi and Al-Ahli Al-Egyptian.
This was announced at a press conference on Saturday, where a number of former Saudi stars attended the conference, who were keen to celebrate Khalid Mas’ ad, while the date of the match is not yet set.
For his part, Khaled Massad thanked the Saudi Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and all his fellow players in Al Ahli, Federation and Unity for their support of this initiative, stating that he chose the Egyptian National Club as a fan and as the largest club in Africa and its long history.
During his career, Masad was crowned a number of local and Asian titles, first of which was crowned with the Saudi team the Asian Cup in the 1988 and 1996 editions, as well as the 1985 Asian Junior Cup, 1986 Asian Youth Cup, 1986 Gulf Cup, 1994 and 1998 World Cups, and participated in the 1992, 1995 and 1997 Continents Cup.
At the local level, Khaled Mas’ ad was crowned with Al Ahly for the 1998 Crown Prince’s Cup and the 2001 Saudi Federation Cup, and with the 2001 and 2003 League Championships and the 2001 Saudi Egyptian Super Cup.
Khaled Ma ‘ad’s career was without a single title, he was named the best player in the 1992 Arab Cup and the third best Asian player 1992 and the best player in the Gulf 1996. He was also the top scorer in the 1998 World Cup qualifiers. He was also named his goal in the American Nets in the 1992 Continents Cup among the top 13 goals in the tournament.
Khaled Mas’ ad began his football career within the junior team of the Al Ahli Club before he was escalated to the first team in 1986 and has not exceeded 17 years. Since then, he has maintained his primary place with Al Ahli, from whom he departed in 2001 to the Etihad in a short trial until he was away from the stadiums two years later.
