al-ahli-wins-al-tai-in-a-quartet-in-hail

Roberto Firmino and Riyadh Mahrez led their al-ahlil- team to a thrilling victory over Al Tai with a quartet in the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League.

The duo cooperated fruitfully, so that, after a delay, Al-ahli rose with a goal in front of Al Tai and won 4-1, and strengthened his position in the ranking ladder.

Bernard Mensah’s goal advanced after an incredible individual skill in dribbling to more than one legend Diego Maradona in the 44th minute, but Firmino equalised in the eighth minute of lost time for the first half.

Firmino scored the lead for Al-ahli after an hour of play, before Algeria added Mahrez’s third goal in the 82nd minute, and Franc Casey’s fourth goal in the 88th minute.

Al-Ahli returned to the right path quickly, after losing 3-2 to the al-akhdood in the last round, making it 43 points from 21 games and consolidating his position in third place, 6 points behind the second-placed al-nasr. Al-Hilal leads the competition with 56 points.

The Tai’s balance has been frozen at 18 points, is 16th and lies in the landing zone, two points above the safety zone.

A- Ahli started better, grabbed the ball, and Mahrez struck a powerful ball that bounced back to Alan Maximin, but he put the ball in his head next to the post in the ninth minute.

After 6 minutes, Saint-Maximin rose, putting the ball firmly towards goal, but goalkeeper Victor Braga saved the attempt brilliantly to keep the game scoreless.

After a corner carried out by Maximin, fellow defender Merih Demiral put the ball heading into the crossbar to squander a dangerous new opportunity for Al-ahli to score.

But just after the opportunity, contrary to the run of play, Mensah took possession of the ball in the middle of the tai court, dribbled everyone he met until he reached the edge of the box, and smashed a ground ball into the net.

Tai striker Virgil Middan missed an opportunity to add the second goal after his goal solitude in the first minute of injury time, but the team then paid the price too much.

In the final moments of the half, Mahrez sent a cross from the right around former Liverpool striker Firmino with an elaborate header inside the net, amid anger and protest from the folds for continuing until the eighth minute of lost time.

This goal gave moral impetus to the parents in the second half, and Mahrez carried out a corner that was touched by Perakan with a RA strike.
