The First al-hilal Football Team arrived in Riyadh on Sunday after concluding its preparatory camp in Austria, beating its Italian counterpart Udinese on Saturday.
Blue coach Georgie Jesus of Portugal gave two days’ rest to his players after nearly 20 days of league and super title holders and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques trophy, in Austria’s 28-man camp.
During Austria’s camp, he played six confrontations, starting with a 60th win over Austria’s Nueshat, a 2.0 gain for the Qatari Arab and his 2.1 citizen Al Dihil, losing to South Africa’s Sun Downs 1/2, and Italy’s Cuomo gaining 10 and Udinese in the same result.
According to the club, next Tuesday will begin a final stage of preparations in Riyadh, during which the star will face off at the club’s headquarters.
Blue departs next Sunday to Abha for the Clasico site in front of Al-Ahli, in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup, August 13, at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
Al-Hilal played 6 games in the Austrian camp, winning 5 meetings and losing once, dating back to the Sun’s Duans’ 1-2 fall.
All the games played by Crescent saw a shocking appearance from Brazilian full-back Renan Lodi, something he has become accustomed to since joining the leader last January, coming from Marseille.
