Press reports on Wednesday morning revealed the absence of an important defence paper from the  al-itthad of Jeddah team during the Fayha confrontation scheduled for Friday in the 25th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Brigadier General is fourth in the Rosen Pro League ranking table with 43 points, winning 13 times, drawing 4 and losing 7 after 24 rounds.

According to the sports newspaper Saad Al Musa, the Federation’s defender, will be absent from the team during the Fayha confrontation because his physical readiness is incomplete.

Benzema returned to the brigadier’s training last Friday, where he tried to regain his fitness.

Benzema moved away from the al-itthad  for about a month, with the last meeting the French striker played on 26 February last, against Unity in the 21st round of the competition.

Benzema suffered two injuries during that period, the first muscle in the leg, and the second lower back.

The 36-year-old striker missed the Etihad games against Al-Hilal, Al-Gudud and Al-Fatah in the league, as well as the leader’s two games in the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League.

Benzema faces misfortune with the Tigers, with the last goal in all tournaments dating back to 15 December last at the National Egyptian Club Cup.
