The Jeddah Federation came out with a zero season, after failing in the Saudi League, the domestic Super Cup, the Khadem Al-Haramain Cup, the Club World Cup and the AFC Champions League.
Romarinho had joined the ranks of the Federation in the summer of 2018, coming from the Emirati island, while “Dean” signed Grohi from Brazil’s Grimeo in January 2019.
Grohi owns a record of 47 games as the most preserved foreign goalkeeper in Saudi Professional League history.
Grohi has achieved this historic figure over 121 games during which he has conceded 103 goals in the Professional League.
Grohi is also considered the most clean sheet keeper during one season of the competition with 19 games during the last edition of the tournament.
Gruhi led the al-itthad to achieve the local league and super titles during the past season, where he was one of the most important elements to lead the “brigadier” towards this achievement.
