al-itthad-takes-new-decision-on-kante

The Saudi al-itthad of Jeddah has resolved its position on the future of its French star N ‘Golo Kante during the current summer Mercato.

Kante’s name was associated with a return to Europe, especially after his good season with the al-itthad, and then his outstanding performance in “Euro 2024”.

Fabrizio Romano, the players’ transfer market expert, confirmed that the federation was sticking to Kante’s survival.
“The Union’s position on N’Golo Kante remains the same after being linked to West Ham and Atletico Madrid,” Romano wrote via his X account.

He added: “Kante is not for sale, this is the Union’s final position.”

Kante joined the ranks of the Jeddah al-itthad last summer from Chelsea, where he became a key component of the squad.
The federation opens its campaign in the new season by confronting the newly emerging immortality of the Saudi Professional League.
The federation will participate in the league and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup only next season, having finished fifth last season.
The Spanish network “Relevo” revealed that Atleti officials had begun talks with representatives of Kante, to explore whether he could join the Rojiblancos this season.
Kante had given the Madrid club the green light, which Ramón Blanes, the al-itthad ‘s sporting director, had learned, but he would prefer not to talk about it, since the “dean” had not received any official offer to date.
This follows West Ham United’s attempt to return Kante to the Premiership in the past days.
