The management of al-itthad Club closed the file of the remaining financial benefits for Portuguese Nuno Santo, the former head coach of the first team football, according to “Sports” special sources.
When Santo was sacked from the al-itthad of jeddah ‘s training last November 7, he had eight months’ salaries, totalling four million euros, according to then-Sports, and the department succeeded in paying him, according to sources, in accordance with a binding agreement, signed by the parties.
The same sources indicated that the coach received the final clearance confirming that he had obtained all his rights over his tenure with the club.
The Portuguese coached the al-itthad of jeddah in the summer of 2022, and lasted about 16 months with him, during which he achieved the Professional League and Super Saudi titles, before being sacked for a drop in results in his second season. Santo left the al-itthad of jeddah team when he was sixth in the league, taking over from Argentina’s Marcelo Giardo, the current head coach of the Tigers “al-itthad of jeddah team”. After his departure, English club Nottingham Forest appointed him as team coach on a two-and-a-half year contract. Nottingham currently sit 17th in the Premier League table.
