al-shabab benefited from the expiration of Bonaventura’s contract with FC Fiorentina by the end of last season to spill a free deal.
A press report confirmed several days ago that the club’s management had already reached out to the Italian player and obtained his approval to join the Liuth.
According to Transfair Market, Bonaventura signed with the youth club until June 2025, with the option to renew for an additional season.
The 34-year-old Italian midfielder played for Atlanta, Bergolizzi 1932, Padova and AC Milan before his final stop with Fiorentina.
