French star Karim Benzema left the match between the Al-itthad and Al-khaleej, affected by an injury during the first half, with the 15th round of the Saudi Roshen League.
Benzema scored the second goal for the Al-itthad, from the spot in the 29th minute, before feeling pain at the “pelvic” level, and could not then complete the game normally.

Benzema was replaced by fellow journalist Marwan in the 38th minute.
Benzema’s injury comes days before the Club World Cup, which takes place in Saudi Arabia next month.
The Al-itthad will meet Auckland City of New Zealand in the preliminary round on December 12, and if he wins, he will set a date with Al-Ahli Egypt on December 15.
It is worth mentioning that Benzema shot 4 times in the 37 minutes in front of the Al-khaleej, with 16 passing a ball to his teammates, with a success rate of 81 .3%, while winning “two assertions,” out of the 3 against the players of the opposing team
