Press reports on Wednesday revealed the position of the  al-itthad Jeddah  administration on the continuation of Moroccan Abdelrazak Hamdallah during the new season.

The name Hamdallah was recently accompanied by the departure from the “Brigadier General”, because of the club’s desire to include prominent names from the European continent.

According to the sports newspaper, the al-itthad administration settled on Hamdallah’s departure, given his difficult presence with Frenchman Karim Benzema.
“The club and Hamdullah agreed to part ways before the start of the preparatory period for the new season, as management awaits the adoption of the clubs’ budget by the polarization committee, to enter into negotiations with a distinctive alternative.”

Earlier press reports had indicated that “Benzema asked the administration to get rid of Hamdallah during the summer mercatu”.

Hamdallah joined the ranks in the winter of 2022, succeeded in appearing at an impressive level, and achieved with the team, the local league and super titles in the 2022-2023 season.

In addition, he was crowned the Saudi League’s top scorer for the previous edition by scoring 21 goals, for the third time in his career in the competition.
Hamdallah joined the club in 2022, playing for “al-itthad” three seasons, winning the league championship and Super Cup, as well as participating in the Club World Cup, and securing the league goal title before last.
