The draw is the fourth for the federal team during their title defence trip, the first under Argentina’s Marcelo Jayardo, who assumed the job of coaching the “Tigers”, succeeding Portuguese Nuno Santo, who was dismissed from his post because of declining results.

With this result, the Al-itthad did not move in the table of the Saudi Professional roshn League ranking, only raising its balance to 25 points in fifth place, as well as the Al-ettifaq raising its balance to 23 points in ninth place.
The al-itthad faces al-khaleej counterpart in the 15th round of the league’s competition, while the Al-ettifaq faces Al-akhdood counterpart.
