Brazilian player Roberto Firmino and compatriot Fabinho stars of roshen league returned to Anfield, the stronghold of their former club, Liverpool, for the Reds’ clash with counterpart Newcastle United on Monday in the 20th Premier League round (Premiership).
The Liverpool Club account, on the X platform, posted footage from the pair’s visit to the team stadium, commenting: “We have a special guest today, welcome to Anfield again Fabinho,” and added in another post: “Visit from another dear Brazilian guest on our hearts, welcome, Bobby.”
Roberto Firmino and Fabinho had played for the Reds for several years, with a number of titles including Premiership and the Champions League, before leaving the club’s fences in the last summer transfer market.
The pair used the suspension of the roshen League for more than a month, due to the 2023 Asian Cup, to return to Premier League stadiums as guests.
