The league of Saudi Football Federation competitions committee rejected the request of the management of the al-itthad Club on the postponement of the first team football match against Al-Hilal in the semi-final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup scheduled for April 30 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, according to “sports” sources.
The same sources indicated that the Competition Committee sent an official letter to the al-itthad, which included the rejection of the club’s request, due to the participation of five of its players in the Saudi national team in the Under-23 Asian Cup, which is currently under way in Doha, Qatar.
The al-itthad Company submitted the application through an official letter sent to the Saudi Football Federation on Thursday, according to a statement published by the club through its account on X.
He is absent from the team due to participation in the AFC Under-23 Cup, five of his players: Awad Al-Nashari, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Zakaria Husawi, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and Marwan Al-Ghamdi Al-Jadawi.
