Al-Wahda was tied with Al-Ahli hosts (1-1) on Friday in the 27th round of the Saudi Professional League.

The hosts took the lead through Abdelaziz Nur, in the 48th minute, and the high-end tied the 82nd minute with Roger Ibanez’s header, while Abdelbaset Hindi, a player from Al-ahli, received a red card in the 78th minute.

Al Ahli ‘s tie rose to 52 points, third in the league standings table, while the al-wehda team is 12th, with 31 points.

The game began with the upscale control of the ball, in front of a defensive reservation for the hosts.

The attacking danger was rare in the first half, before Mounir Mohammadi, the guard of the unit, shone in the final minutes of the first half, leaving a powerful shot from Riyad Mahrez.

Early in the second half, Abdelaziz Nur sprang the high-end defence from behind the lines, before the ball inhabited goalkeeper Edouard Mendy’s goal, at the 48th minute.

Mohammadi continued to withstand his dangerous Brickan header, in the 69th minute.

The task became more difficult for Al Ahly, with Abdul Basit Hindi receiving a red card, in the 78th minute, after Nour was prevented from scoring the second goal.

But Ibanez snatched an 82nd-minute equaliser from a distinctive header, after Riyad Mahrez’s cross.

The 92nd minute saw the most exciting moment of confrontation, when Al-Ahly pressed offensively, and was close to scoring the goal of the lead, if not for Mohammadi’s save, before the ball flipped to a quick bounce back for the unit, but Noor did not put it in the net, ending the game with a draw (1-1).
