The start of the match saw a lot of pressure from the Al-itthad team, to score the first goals early, which was achieved by Egor Cornado, to make it (1-0).
In the 29th minute, after more than a dangerous attempt at the Al-khaleej goal, Al-itthaf managed to score the second goals through Karim Benzema, from the penalty mark, but then left the match field in the 37th minute injured.

Just before the end of the first half, the al-khaleej managed to reduce the deficit by scoring in the 45th minute through Khaled Nari from the penalty spot, making it (2-1) for Al-itthad.
In the second half, Al-itthad continued to excel, scoring two goals in the 66th minutes through Abdul Razak Hamdallah from the penalty spot, and 74 by Zakaria Husawi’s foot, to make it (4-1).
In the 90th minute, Al-khaleej returned to visit the Al-itthad net, scoring their second goal through Fawaz El Taris, becoming the score (4-2), and continuing so until the end.
With this victory, Al-itthad raised its balance for 28 points in fourth place, in the Saudi League ranking table, while Al-khaleej team’s balance stopped at 13th point in 14th place.
