Al-Bukiryah

Al-Bukiryah Football Club is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Al Bukayriyah, Qassim. Founded in 1962, the club competes in the Saudi First Division, the second tier of Saudi football.

The Al-Bukayriah Club was founded in 1382 AH (1962 AD). It was formerly known as Al-Amal Club and its name was changed to Al-Bukayriah Club in 2018.

The club competes in the Saudi First Division, which is the second tier of Saudi football, The club was established in 1962 and was initially known as Al-Amal Football Club However, on August 28, 2018, the club changed its name to Al-Bukayriah FC, which is the name it goes by today.

Al-Bukiryah Club Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Al Bukayriyah, Saudi Arabia. It is currently used mostly for football matches, on the club level by Al-Bukiryah FC.

Al-Bukayriah Club achievement:

Great achievements for the club in two seasons; since Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Hadif took over the management as president in the 2016 season, a significant breakthrough has occurred. The club's management worked on developing a strategic plan and goals befitting the club's status and the Bukayriah province, to reach the First Division League after the club had spent nearly 60 years in regional leagues. This achievement was realized with the support of honorary members, as the club quickly ascended from the regional league to the Second Division League and from there to the First Division League in just two seasons (2017-2018). This was a historic achievement, allowing the club to participate in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman First Division League for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 sports seasons. During this period, there was significant work done by the club's management, beginning with a complete rebranding to align with the significant developments in the sports scene in the Kingdom. This rebranding included changing the club's logo and name from "Al-Amal" to "Al Bukayriah," rooted in the historical heritage of Bukayriah. This change was widely accepted, marking a new phase driven by the financial and business community of Bukayriah's sons and daughters, leading to successes and accomplishments. Anyone who knows Al Bukayriah Club and the significant resources it possesses, both in terms of its facilities and the working environment within the club's administration, as well as the substantial honorary support, can see that the club's relegation does not reflect reality. However, this is the nature of football. A message to the fans and supporters of Al Bukayriah Club: Al Bukayriah made history in two seasons by achieving an unprecedented milestone by competing in the Second Division and First Division leagues. The relegation is not the end, but rather the beginning of a return to a better future, God willing. Many clubs have gone through similar phases, descending to lower divisions and then bouncing back stronger and better. Thanks to the Al Suwailm Holding Group, represented by the sons of the late Sheikh Mohammed Al Ali Al Suwailm, for their historic stance with the club. Thanks to all those who stood with the club, including honorary members, fans, and supporters. With their presence and sincere support, there is no fear for Al Bukayriah, and, God willing, Al Bukayriah will rise again from its setback.
