Al Sahel

Al-Sahel FC is a Saudi Arabian football team in Anak, Qatif City playing at the Saudi Second Division.

Club Establishment:

Founded in the year 1399 AH (Hijri calendar), this club was established through the dedicated efforts of the residents of the city of Anak, who worked tirelessly to establish its headquarters and create sports facilities for all club activities. It was officially registered and granted official recognition by the government. Over the years, various administrations from Anak continued to manage the club, participating in all sports and achieving championships in some games. The club also provided stars for the national teams and advanced to the second division of football several times, eventually making it to the Prince Mohammed bin Salman First Division League. The club's management is currently in the process of building a sports base for local players in all sports to serve the city of Anak, the Eastern region, and our beloved kingdom.

Al-Sahel Club's Achievements:

The Saudi Al-Sahel Club has not won any official titles throughout its football history, as it has not reached the first-place position in the Saudi First Division League since its participation. In July 2022, the Saudi Ministry of Sports announced a new classification system for clubs with the aim of improving the rewards granted to them. Al-Sahel Club was classified in category "D," and it will receive two and a half million Saudi Riyals if it meets the required criteria for this category.
