The 2022–23 First Division League, also known as the Yelo League for sponsorship reasons, marked the 2nd season of the Saudi First Division League after its rebrand and the 46th season since its establishment in 1976. The season spanned from 22 August 2022 to 29 May 2023.Champion Crowned
Al-Ahli emerged as champions, securing their 1st title in this division. They clinched the championship with a 1–0 victory over Al-Qadsiah on 23 May.Promotions and Relegations
Promotions:
- Al-Ahli secured promotion on 5 May.
- Al-Okhdood secured promotion on 15 May.
- Al-Riyadh secured promotion following a home win on 29 May.
- Al-Hazem secured promotion after defeating Al-Sahel.
Relegations:
- Al-Shoulla was relegated on 1 May.
- Al-Sahel was relegated despite a victory on 23 May.
- Najran faced relegation on the final matchday.
