al-nasr-and-al-hilal-on-the-way-to-the-Saudi-super-derby

UAE capital Abu Dhabi’s Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium next Monday sees an exciting Saudi derby, which will combine Al Hilal with his traditional fine Al-Nasr, in the semi-finals of the 2024 Saudi Super Cup.
Al-Hilal participates in the Saudi Super League this year after winning the 2023 Copa del Rey title, while Al-Nasr qualified as the runner-up to the Saudi League last season.

Enhancing Title Record

Al-Hilal is the most crowned team in the Saudi Super Cup title by 3 times, in the 2015, 2018, 2021 editions, and seeks to win the victory to continue the journey towards this year’s title to boost its winning record.

Al-Nasr haunts the throne of Al-Hilal

As Al-Nasr seeks to be crowned the Saudi Super Cup, to chase the throne of Al-Hilal for the title, where the world was previously crowned twice in the 2019 and 2020 editions.

Al-Hilal, Al-Nusr and Al-Ittihad are the most prestigious teams in the competition (twice per team), and then once each of the collaborations, Al-Faisali and Al-Faha.

Who rules his grip?

Al Hilal and Nasr met in the Saudi Super Cup final twice, the first in 2015, and the second in the 2020 edition. Al-Hilal won the first time (1-0), while Victory won the second time (5-4) on penalties.
Al-Nasr was crowned Saudi Super Cup 2020 for the second time, after beating Al-Hilal (3-0) in the match they compiled at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The “World” trilogy was signed by Brazil’s Petros Matheus, Morocco’s Abdel Razak Hamdallah and Sami Khalil al-Najei in the minutes 61, 82 and 90 + 2 respectively.
