On Thursday, the Saudi Professional League (SBA) Competition Department announced the transfer of the al-itthad and al-raed Showdown, scheduled for 9 p.m. Saturday in the 18 round of the Saudi Professional Roshen League from Prince Abdullah Al Faisal City Stadium to King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

The Department of Competitions stated through a press release posted on its official website on the X Social Media Platform that the transfer was not due to the end of coordination with FIFA on the receipt of sports facilities hosting the 2023 Club World Cup.

Accordingly, it issued a decision to postpone the planned al-wehda and Riyadh match at the same time from King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Mecca to play At 9 p.m. next Sunday, in addition to issuing a further decision to move the al-itthad match and the postponed al-nassr of the 17th round, scheduled for next Tuesday of King Abdullah Sports City, To Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, without adjustment in its timing.

The Egyptian team is scheduled to face its counterpart Orwa Japan to identify the bronze holders, as part of the current Club World Cup in Jeddah. It is reported that the Jeddah Federation team led by Karim Benzema has been knocked out of the tournament by his Egyptian counterpart Al Ahli Club
