al-hilal-wins-al-akhdoud-by-triple

Al-Hilal secured an easy 3-1 win at the Youth Club Stadium on Thursday evening in the penultimate round of the Saudi Professional League.
Al-Hilal strengthened the Saudi League table with 93 points, beating second-placed rivals Al-Nasr by 14 points, with one round ahead of the end.

Al Tai froze his balance at 31 points to drop to 16th position.
Leader Salem Al Dusri, Michael Delgado and Malcom Oliveira scored in the 17th, 44th and 60th minutes, respectively.

The folding goal was scored by André Correa at the 64th minute.

Hilal is one game away from finishing the season unbeaten for the second time in its history after the 2010-2011 season, and the fourth in Saudi League history.

Al-Hilal plays the final round of the competition against Unity hosts next Monday.

As expected, Al-Hilal entered the game with a compressed attack, but the first real chance came in the ninth minute when Malcom Oliveira went deep, striking a powerful ball around the folding guard for a corner.

Al-Hilal did not wait long for a goal to be advanced to Al-Dusri, returning from a tricky fallen ball, after a pass by Renan Lodi inside the box.

One minute before halftime, Michel added the second after a superb individual effort, dribbling defenders and the keeper, then slotting home.

Despite a double lead, the hosts entered the second half looking for reinforcement, and indeed their players threatened the goal on more than one occasion in the first quarter of the hour.

Malcolm added to the folds after he scored a third goal, receiving a ground pass from Mitchell and hitting it straight into the narrow corner, to which the guard did not move.

But the guests quickly responded with the aim of narrowing the gap through André Correa from a right in the far corner, which Yassin Bono could not handle.
